The Macallan Gold Double Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

Aged in a combination of first fill and refill sherry casks, it is designed to sit between the now-defunct 10yo Sherry Oak and 10yo Fine Oak bottlings. Sweet notes of toffee and custard tarts balanced by fresh green-apple skin. Cinnamon, raisins, baked apples, panna cotta. Quite rich and weighty. Smooth, rich and clean. The Macallan distillery is on the 485-acre Macallan Estate in Speyside, Scotland. Known for peerless single malt whiskies, with a distinctly rich, fruity, full-bodied taste (thanks to having 25 of Speyside’s smallest stills).
